PROPOSED REDETERMINATION OF THE MEANS OF ACCESS TO BE TAKEN BY PEDAL CYCLE AND FOOT ONLY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the East Dunbartonshire Council propose to make an Order under Section 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to redetermine the means of access on Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs, as described in the Schedule hereto.
The title of the order is THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (WESTERHILL ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS) (REDETERMINATION OF THE MEANS OF ACCESS TO BE TAKEN BY PEDAL CYCLE AND FOOT ONLY) ORDER
A copy of the proposed order and the accompanying plan showing the redetermination of the means of access to be taken by pedal cycle and foot only, together with a statement of reasons for making the order are available for inspection, free of charge, between 9.00 hours and 17.00 hours, Monday to Friday inclusive at the offices of:-
(i) Roads & Transportation, Broomhill Industrial Estate, Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TF(Telephone Enquiries to: 0300-123-4510;
(ii) Legal Services, Broomhill Industrial Estate, Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TF);
and also at the following library during normal opening hours
(iii) Bishopbriggs Library, 170 Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 2LX.
ANY PERSON may by 26 June 2017, object to the making of the order by notice in writing to the Chief Solicitor & Monitoring Officer, 12 Strathkelvin Place, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TJ. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

- That part of Westerhill Road, shown saw toothed hatched on the plan annexed, which is bounded on the west by the edge of carriageway and on the east by the East Dunbartonshire/North Lanarkshire Councils boundary, which varies in width between zero and 3 metres or thereby and which extends from a point 67 metres or thereby north of the extended north kerbline of Wester Cleddens Road northwards for a distance of 474 metres or thereby to the East Dunbartonshire/North Lanarkshire Councils boundary at the bridge over the Glasgow to Edinburgh railway line.
- That part of Westerhill Road, shown saw toothed hatched on the plan annexed, which varies in width between 3 metres or thereby and 6 metres or thereby and which extends from a point 541 metres or thereby north of the extended north kerbline of Wester Cleddens Road, at the East Dunbartonshire/North Lanarkshire Councils boundary at the bridge over the Glasgow to Edinburgh railway line, northwards and northwestwards for a distance of 86 metres or thereby to a point 4 metres or thereby south of the south kerbline of the east/west leg of Westerhill Road.
