(WESTERHILL ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS)
(EXTENSION TO TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
On the 4 April 2017 The East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to the Network Rail yard on the east side of Westerhill Road) on Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs from the extended north kerbline of Wester Cleddens Road, at Wester Cleddens Roundabout, to the extended east kerbline of the vehicular access to Aviva Call Centre, Bishopbriggs, by reason of works being executed on or near these lengths roads.
This Order will operate from 18.00 hours on Sunday 16 April until 18:00 hours on Sunday, 1 October 2017.
Alternative Route
The alternative route for vehicles on the south side of the closure is to proceed by way of Wester Cleddens Road, South Crosshill Road, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, and Westerhill Road, Bishopbriggs. Vehicles on the north side of the closure should proceed vice-versa. These routes will be sign posted.
