Single-Use Plastics Policy, The Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, Screening Determination under Section 8(1)

East Dunbartonshire Council intends to prepare a Single-Use Plastics Policy. In accordance with Section 8(1) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, East Dunbartonshire Council has determined, in agreement with the Consultation Authorities, that the Strategy is unlikely to have significant environmental effects and that a Strategic Environmental Assessment is not required.
By virtue of Section 10(2) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, a copy of the determination notice is hereby publicised. A copy of the determination and any related statement of reasons, are available at Place, Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets, Broomhill Industrial Estate, Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TP, as well as on our website, for inspection by the public at all reasonable times.
