(EASTER GARNGABER ROAD, LENZIE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2016

On the 12th April 2016 The East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person (i) to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works, emergency service vehicles and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to/or streets accessed of the closed section of road) on Easter Garngaber Road, Lenzie, between its junctions with Birken Road and Foxes Grove; and (ii) to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on Easter Garngaber Road, Lenzie beneath the railway bridge, from a point 50 metres southeast of the extended southeast kerbline of Seven Sisters south-eastwards for a distance of 35 metres or thereby to a point 60 metres northwest of the extended northwest kerbline of Craigenbay Road, by reason of works being executed on or near these lengths roads.

Vehicles requiring access to properties on Easter Garngaber Road between Birken Road and the bridge under the Glasgow to Edinburgh Railway, Foxes Grove, Meadowburn Avenue or Craigie Park, will be required to access Easter Garngaber Road by way of the B819 Lindsaybeg Road. These vehicles will be escorted through the works area by a works operative

This Order will operate from 05.00 hours until 12 noon each day, on Saturday 23 April and Sunday 29 May 2016.

Alternative Route

The alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Easter Garngaber Road, the B819 Lindsaybeg Road, the A806 Initiative Road, Woodilee Road, Garngaber Avenue, the B757 Kirkintilloch Road and Auchinloch Road, Lenzie, and these routes will be sign posted.

(CAMPSIE ROAD, KIRKINTILLOCH)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2016

The East Dunbartonshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, make the above named Order to be observed by vehicles between 09:30 a.m. and 13:00 hours on Friday, 22 April 2016 for reasons of public safety and convenience.

Road Closure

Campsie Road, Kirkintilloch between the vehicular access to Strathkelvin House and its junction with the B822 Campsie Road.

Alternative Route

The alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Campsie Road, the A803 Glasgow Road, the B757 Milton Road, Kirkintilloch, the B757 Birdston Road, Milton of Campsie, the A891 Campsie Road, Milton of Campsie and Lennoxtown, the B822 Campsie Road, Lennoxtown, and Torrance, the B822 Main Street, Torrance, and the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, and these routes will be sign posted.

Contravention of the order which may be inspected at Legal Services, Broomhill Industrial Estate, Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TF could result in a penalty of up to level 3 of the standard scale (£1000).

(UNION STREET, KIRKINTILLOCH)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2016

On the 11 April 2016 The East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works) on a section of Union Street, Kirkintilloch, between its junctions with York Place and Peel Brae (the lane adjacent to Kirkintilloch Town Hall and Regent Gardens Surgery), Kirkintilloch, by reason of works being executed on or near these roads.

This Order will operate between 06.00 hours on Monday, 18 April 2016 until 18:00 hours on Sunday, 15 October 2017.

Alternative Routes

The alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Union Street, Washington Road, the A803 Glasgow Road, West High Street, Cowgate, Kerr Street and Oxford Street, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted.
