(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2023

NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow footway resurfacing:-

Name & affected length of road – Main Street, 320m.

Nature and period of restriction - Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time with restrictions introduced in phases as the works progress.

This Notice commences on 13 November 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 13 November 2023 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 17 November 2023 at 17:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
