NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow  Resurfacing Works

Name & affected length of road – De-Walden Terrace,Holehouse Road    

Road Closure - 130 meters De-Walden Terrace

No Waiting -  No waiting restrictions in place on De-Walden Terrace 130m - north side & 90m  on southside. Also a 40m no waiting restriction on Holehouse road east of the junction at Wilson Avenue .

Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time

This Notice commences on 09 February 2024 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 09 February 2024 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining until 13 February 2024 at 16:30.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
