( Christmas Event Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting and Loading at Any Time) Order 2023
On 7th November 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 62 of the Road (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Kilmarnock Christmas Event

The Order commences on 25 November 2023 and has a maximum duration of 7 days or until the event is finished and the restrictions can be removed whichever is earlier. Preperations for the event are expected to commence from 25 November 2023 at 17:00 until 26 November 2023 at 19:00.
The days and times of the Event may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services and Pedestrians will not be affected.
