Emergency Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, that the following Traffic Management restrictions be introduced with immediate effect for emergency Scottish Power works
Road Closure – Turnberry Drive, Kilmarnock - Closed between Jeffrey Street & Hurlford Road.
Period of restriction – The Notice is valid for a period of up to 21 days from the date below unless a further notice is issued under Section 15(8)(b)(ii) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The restrictions will only be in force at times when the appropriate signs are displayed. Access to properties and premises will be maintained whenever possible.
Emergency services access will be via diversion route
Alternative route – will be signed via Hurlford Road - New Street - Witchknowe Avenue - Turnberry Drive & Vice Versa
Hurlford Road - Ayr Road - Elderslie Crescent - Bruce Street > Turnberry Drive & Vice Versa.
