(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023
On 17th October 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order,to allow works by George Leslie Ltd
Temporary Road Closure – C53 Treeswoodhead Road - Carnell, Kilmarnock - Shortlees, 900m from junction with A719 Northbound for approx 2000m.
The Order commences on 02 November 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 02 November 2023 at 07:00 with the closure remaining in place until 15 December 2023 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
An alternative route will be signed via A719 -A76-Bellfield Interchange -Queens Drive-B7072-New Street-Witchknowe Road-Treeswoodhead Road and vice versa
