(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow carriageway resurfacing.
Name & affected length of road – John Allan Drive, from the junction of Glaisnock Road for a distance of 272 Metre NW direction.
No Waiting - John Allan Drive, Cumnock, from the junction of Glaisnock Road for a distance of 272 Metre NW direction.
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 16 September 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 16 September 2023 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining until 17 September 2023 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
