(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Iron Work Repairs
Name & affected length of road – Dundonald Road,Howard Street, Kilmarnock
Dundonald Road for 15m from Sherriff Court house to Entrance of Sherriff Court house car park.
Dundonald Road for 75m from Sherriff Court house carpark to 32 Dundonald Road.
Howard Street for 30m from junction Dundonald Road to Number 1 Howard Street on both sides of the road. .
Nature and period of restriction - Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 10 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 10 October 2023 at 09:30 with the restrictions removed by 18:00 later that same day.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
