(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Iron Work Repairs
Name of road - Rathlin Avenue, Road closed on Rathlin Avenue for 60 meters from Methven Avenue junction to number 30.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 03 October 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 03 October 2023 at 09:30 until 03 October 2023 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route - Methven Avenue > Turnberry Drive > Knowehead Road > Treesbank Road > Craigie Road end and vice versa.
