(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Ironwork Repairs
Name & affected length of road – Main Street Auchinleck
No waiting restrictions on Main Street for 50 meters from opposite number 200 to Auchinleck Station junction
No waiting restrictions on Main Street for 60 meters from number 178 to 200
No waiting restrictions on Main Street for 25 meters from number 197 to number 224 both sides
Nature and period of restriction - Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 20 September 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 20 September 2023 at 09:30 with the restrictions removed by 18:00 later that same day.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
