(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2023
On 29th August 2023 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Scottish Power upgrade works.
Temporary Road Closure – B741 From Armour Wynd To U720 Dalricket, Cumnock, Approximately 400m.
The Order commences on 11 September 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 11 September 2023 at 00:01 with the closure remaining in place until 06 October 2023 at 23:59.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route only.
An alternative route will be signed via Ayr Road (A713), A77, A70, A76 and vice Versa.
A secondary alternative route (weekends only) will be signed via Ayr Road (A713), A77, A70, B7036, C62, Mauchline Road, A76 and vice versa.
