(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow bridge repairs on behalf of Network Rail
Name of road - Ayr Road, Mauchline, From Bogmoor Farm entrance 150 metres West of the bridge and Arran View 250 metres East of the bridge.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 16 June 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 16 June 2023 at 22:00 until 19 June 2023 at 06:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will be maintained.
Due to nature of works local access will be via diversion route
Alternative route - B743 Ayr Road - B730 Montgomerie Street - B744 - A76 Kilmarnock Road - B743 Loudon Street & Vice Versa.
