(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to facilitate bridge repair works on behalf of Network Rail
Name of road - B743, Ayr Road Mauchline, Closure points will be Bogmoor Farm entrance 150 metres West of the bridge and Arran View 250 metres East of the bridge.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 10 June 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 10 June 2023 at 22:00 until 12 June 2023 at 08:00.
The road is expected to only be closed between 22:00 and 08:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will be maintained.
Local access will be via diversion route
Alternative route - B743 Ayr Road - B730 Montgomerie Street - B744 - A76 Kilmarnock Road - B743 Loudon Street & Vice Versa.
