(Temporary Road Closure) Notice 2023
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will close the following lengths of road to allow Network Rail Works
Name of road - Irvine Road, Railway bridge and 10m either side.
Nature and period of restriction - Road closure
This Notice commences on 21st February 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 21st February 2023 at 22:00 until 22nd February 2023 at 06:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route -Irvine Road - B769 - A735 and vice versa - low bridge on the A735 south of Stewarton (Height of 15' 0") which is higher than the height of the bridge being closed.
