(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Notice 2022
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 as amended, and of all other enabling powers which will prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road to allow Scottish Water Ironwork Repairs
Name & affected length of road – Innellan Drive & Dunoon Avenue Kilmarnock.
Road Closed - for 100 meters on Innellan Drive from Dunoon Avenue junction to number 82 and on Dunoon Avenue from entrance to parking area up to dead end.
No Waiting - Dunoon Avenue Kilmarnock restriction for 30 meters on Dunoon Avenue .
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
This Notice commences on 12 January 2023 and has a maximum duration of 5 days or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. The works are expected to commence from 12 January 2023 at 09:30 with the restrictions remaining until 12 January 2023 at 18:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
Alternative route - Signed via Innellan Drive > Rothesday Place > Campbelltown Drive > Western Road >end and vice versa in both directions.
