(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022
On 6th December 2022 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to facilitate Scottish Water Sewer Repairs
Temporary Road Closure – Elderslie Crescent , Kilmarnock, FROM NO. 1 TO NO. 5 ELDERSLIE CRESCENT .
The Order commences on 11 January 2023 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 11 January 2023 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 22 January 2023 at 23:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
An alternative route will be signed via ELDERSLIE CRESCENT to BRUCE STREET to LAINSHAW AVENUE to CAPRINGTON AVENUE to AYR ROAD and VICE VERSA .
