East Ayrshire Council (U26, Dunlop) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022 - East Ayrshire Archived

On 08/11/22 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow BT Network upgrade works

U26 closed at its junction A735 to its junction Kingston Road

The Order commences on Saturday 19th November 2022 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 08:00hrs on Saturday 19th November until 06:00hrs on Friday 2^nd December 2022 and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure will be permitted to and from their properties. This may on occasion be via the diversion route.

Emergency access will be maintained at all times during the road closures via the diversion route

Alternative Route: will be signed via – Kingston Road , A735 and vice versa
