NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein-
Name of road - Munro Avenue, Lennox Crescent and Gibson Street, Kilmarnock
Affected length of road - Gibson Street Closed from its junction with Munro Avenue to No. 59,61 Gibson Street.
- No Waiting both sides of Munro Avenue from No. 4 northwards to No. 23.
- No Waiting both sides of Lennox Crescent from its junction with Munro Avenue to No. 8,10 Lennox Crescent.
- No Waiting both sides of Gibson street from its junction with Munro Avenue to No. 59,61.
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closed from 09:00 hours on Thursday 25th August 2022 until 18:00 hours
on Friday 26th August 2022.
- No waiting from 9:00 hours on Thursday 25th August 2022 until 18:00 hours on Friday 26th August 2022.
This Notice is in force from 09:00 hours on Thursday 25th August 2022 until 18:00 hours on Friday 26th August 2022 or
until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Notice will be implemented only when appropriate signs are
displayed.
Reason for restriction - To facilitate Scottish Water Ironworks.
Classes of vehicles affected - All (except vehicles engaged in the road maintenance works, emergency vehicles or
vehicles requiring access to properties within or via the closed road)
Diversion Route - Diverted traffic should proceed via Munro Avenue to Bonnyton Road to Stevenston Street and vice versa
