NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all
other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein-

Name of road - Cross Street, Darvel
Affected length of road - From its junction with A71, East Main Street to its junction with West Donington Street.
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure from 12:00 hours Thursday 28th July 2022 to 23:59 hours Wednesday 3rd August.

This Notice is in force from 12:00 hours on Thursday 28th July 2022 until 23:59 hours on Wednesday 3rd August 2022, or
until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Notice will be implemented only when appropriate signs are
displayed.

Reason for restriction - To facilitate Emergency Scottish Power Works.
Classes of vehicles affected - All (except vehicles engaged in the road maintenance works, emergency vehicles or
vehicles requiring access to properties within or via the closed road)

Alternative route:
Diverted traffic should proceed via West Main Street to Burn Road to West Donington Street and vice versa.
OR
Diverted Traffic should Proceed Via East Main Street to Jamieson Road to West Donington Street and vice versa
