On 2/8/22 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Cairn Road, near Cumnock from a point north of Mosside House to a point north of Craiglea (except vehicles engaged on the BT works emergency service vehicles and vehicles requiring access to properties within the closed road), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 08:00 hrs on 18/08/22 until 17:00 hrs on 31/08/22, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: B7083 Glaisnock Street, Ayr Road, B7046 Skares Road, U743 Newfield and vice versa
