NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein-
Name of road - Cessnock Road, Hurlford
Affected length of road - From its junction with Mauchline Road to its junction with Lifnock Avenue.
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure daily Mon to Fri 07:00 hours to 18:00 hours.
No Waiting daily Mon to Fri 07:00 hours to 18:00 hours
This Notice is in force daily from 07:00 hours on Monday 1st August until 18:00 hours on Friday 5th August 2022 or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Notice will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Reason for restriction- Carriageway Resurfacing Works
Classes of vehicles affected- All (except vehicles engaged in the road maintenance works, emergency vehicles or vehicles requiring access to properties within or via the closed road)
Diversion Route- traffic should proceed via Lifnock Avenue, Sherwood Road, Cessnock Avenue, Kerrmuir Avenue and Mauchline Road and vice versa
