East Ayrshire Council (U747 Polquhap, Cumnock) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022
On 5/7/22 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on U747 Polquhap, Cumnock between A76 and C36 Benston, (except vehicles engaged on the works and emergency service vehicles), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 08:00 hrs on 12/07/22 until 17:00 hrs on 20/07/22, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure will be permitted to and from their properties – this may on occasion be via the diversion route.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: U36 Benston to Skerrington Roundabout, A76 to New Cumnock, B741 Mossmark/Leggate, Boig Road, C36 Connel Park and vice versa
