NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire
Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended,
and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of
vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein-
Name of road - A719
Affected length of road - From Waterside to A77
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure
Monday 27th June to Friday 1st July 2022
From 00:00 to 23:59 - 24 hours daily.
This Notice is in force from 08:00 hours on Monday 27th June 2022 until 18:00 hours on
Friday 1st July 2022 or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Notice will
be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Reason for restriction - Carriageway Resurfacing
Classes of vehicles affected - All (except vehicles engaged in the road
maintenance works, emergency vehicles or
vehicles requiring access to properties within the
closed road)
Alternative route: Diverted traffic should proceed via A77, B778 Stewarton Road Fenwick,
B7061 Main Road Fenwick, B7038, Glasgow Road (B7038), Western Road (B7064), Munro
Ave (B7064), Irvine Road (B7081), B7064, A71, Riccarton Road (A71), Galston Road (A71),
A719 and vice versa.
