NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic
(Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and
the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted
classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein-
Name of Road - Barskimming Road (C3).
Affected Length of Road - From its junction with Station Road to its junction with U742 Mosshead.
Nature and period of Restriction -Road Closure and No Waiting (both sides of the affected road) - From Monday 27th
June 2022 until Friday 1st July 2022 - Daily from 08.00hrs until 18.00hrs (when signed
accordingly)
This Notice is in force from -From 08:00hrs on Monday 27th June 2022 until 18.00 hrs on Friday 1st July 2022.
Reason for Restriction -Carriageway Resurfacing
Classes of Vehicles Affected - All (except vehicles engaged in the carriageway resurfacing works, emergency vehicles
or vehicles directed by Traffic Marshals requiring access to properties within or via the
closed road)
Alternative Route - Traffic should proceed via - Barskimming Road (C3), B743 Loudoun Street, A76 to A70 Dettingen
Roundabout Cumnock, A70 to Ochiltree, C49 Mauchline Road before rejoining the C3 and Vice Versa
