NOTICE is hereby given that under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic
(Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and
the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted
classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein-
Name of road - Gemmell Ave, Cumnock.
Affected length of road - For its full length.
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure on Tuesday 26th April 2022 to Friday 29th April 2022
08:00 hours to 18:00 hours
No Waiting - both sides of the affectecd road on Tuesday 26th April 2022 to
Friday 29th April 2022 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours.
This Notice is in force from 08:00 hours on Tuesday 26th April 2022 until 18:00 hours on Friday 29th April 2022 or until
the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Notice will be implemented only when appropriate signs are
displayed.
Reason for restriction - Carriageway Resurfacing
Classes of vehicles affected - All (except vehicles engaged in the road maintenance works, emergency vehicles or
vehicles requiring access to properties within the closed road)
Alternative route: Diverted traffic should proceed via Glaisnock Street, Shankston Crescent, Car Road and vice versa.
