(C108 Cabroc Hill, Stewarton,

(Temporary Road Closure) No.2 Order 2022

On 17/5/22 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of

the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling

powers, made the above-named Order, that continues the restrictions imposed by East

Ayrshire Council (C108 Cabroc Hill, Stewarton, (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022 which expires at 24:00 hrs on 05/06/22.  The Order will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any person to travel on C108 Cabroc Hill, Stewarton from a point approximately 100m North of the access to Gateside Farm, northwards for approximately 300m to a point approximately 300 m south of the access to Merryhill, (except for vehicles engaged on the Culvert replacement works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 06/06/22 until 24:00 hrs on 01/12/22, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier.  Works are currently programmed to be completed by 30/06/22 and the Order will only be implemented when appropriate signs are displayed.

Alternative Route: via B769 (Old Glasgow Road) to Stewarton, A735 towards Dunlop, C7 towards C108 and vice versa

Emergency Services access is via the diversion route.
