NOTICE OF REVOCATION
NOTICE is hereby given that on 10/09/21 East Ayrshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, will make the above named Order revoking “East Ayrshire Council (Route B7083 Auchinleck/Cumnock and Rigg Road, Cumnock) (Temporary 30mph, 40mph Speed Limit and Suspension of 40mph Speed Limit) (Revocation) Order 2017”.
The Order being revoked that came into force at 12:00 hrs on 05/06/17 made it unlawful for any person to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding that stated below on any of the lengths of roads specified—
- 30mph speed limit:-
On route B7083, Cumnock - from a point 98m northwest of Hoyle Cres to a point 20m southeast of Rigg Rd, a distance of 0.25 kilometres or thereby;
- 40mph speed limit:-
On route B7083, Auchinleck/Cumnock - from a point 330m southeast of route B7036 Church Hill, Auchinleck to a point 20m southeast of Rigg Rd, a distance of 0.5 kilometres or thereby, and
- 40mph speed limit:-
On Rigg Rd, Cumnock - from its junction with route B7083 north-eastwards for a distance a point 622m, a distance of 0.62 kilometres or thereby.
The Order was to facilitate works that were being executed on or near that roads.
This revocation Order will come into force at 00:01 hrs on 11/09/21.
