On 04/05/21 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order that continues the restrictions imposed by East Ayrshire Council (Greenholm Road Footbridge, Cumnock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021 which expires at 24:00 hrs on 09/05/21. These Orders make it unlawful for any person to travel (except persons engaged on the bridge repair works) on Greenholm Rd Footbridge, Cumnock, which is located between Cumnock Library/Rothesay House and Asda Supermarket/Cumnock Juniors Football Club, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 24:00 hrs on 09/05/21 until 24:00 hrs on 29/05/21, or until the works are complete whichever is earlier and will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route
Pedestrians should proceed via Greenholm Rd, Footbridge into Townhead St Car Park and Townhead St and vice versa.
