On 27/10/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on C20 at Cunninghamhead Bridge, Kilmaurs, from North Ayrshire’s boundary at Cunninghamhead Bridge north-westwards for 195 metres (except vehicles engaged on the parapet repair works on the Bridge), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 08/11/20 until 24:00 hrs on 04/12/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via U23 Fairlie Crevoch road to North Ayrshire’s boundary then south-westwards to the Bridge at Roddinghill Farm, Irvine and southwards onto the B769 and vice versa.
