On 14/07/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order that continues the restrictions imposed by East Ayrshire Council (Clearmount Bridge, U32 Huggincraig, Newmilns) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2020 which would have expired at 19:00 hrs on 17/07/20. This new Order will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any person to travel on U32 Huggincraig, Newmilns, from a point 330 m west of Clearmount Bridge to a point 230 m south of that bridge (except pedestrians or vehicles engaged on the Clearmount Bridge works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 19:00 hrs on 17/07/20 until 19:00 hrs on 18/12/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route: via U33 Woodhead, A71 Loudoun Rd/Kilnholm St and U32 Kilnholm St/Borebrae/Huggin Craig Rd/Huggincraig and vice versa.
