ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that East Ayrshire Council propose to make an Order under section 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 redetermining the means of exercise of the public right of passage over the road described in the Schedule hereto.

The title of the order is “East Ayrshire Council (B7083 Main Street, Auchinleck and B7083 Auchinleck Road, Cumnock)(Redetermination of Means of Exercise of Public Right of Passage) Order 202-“.

A copy of the proposed order and of the accompanying plan showing the roads over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage is to be redetermined together with a statement of the reasons for making the order are available for inspection online at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/ or can be emailed to interested parties on request by contacting us at the address below or by emailing enquiries@ayrshireroadsalliance.org. Those documents are available for inspection from 21 July 2020.

Any person may, within 28 days from 21 July 2020 object to the making of the order by notice in writing to Interim Head of Roads, Ayrshire Roads Alliance, Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock KA1 1DD. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

B7083 Main Street, Auchinleck

The footway on the west side of Main Street from a point in line with the extended northwest kerbline of Rigg Road northwestwards for distance of 470m.

B7083 Auchinleck Road, Cumnock

The footway on the west side of Auchinleck Road from the extended northern kerbline of Underwood Road northwestwards to a point in line with the extended northwest kerbline of Rigg Road (a distance of 590m or thereby)

All of which footways are shown saw tooth hatched on the plan (01) accompanying this Order.
