On 30/06/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful, between 09:00 hrs and 15:30 hrs daily, for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on U759 Loch Doon road, Dalmellington, (from its junction with A713 at Mossdale westwards and south-westwards for 400 m), except vehicles engaged on the Muck Water Bridge repair works, junction improvement works and road widening works, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 09:00 hrs on 02/07/20 until 15:30 hrs on 07/08/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
It is anticipated that the works will take one to two weeks but it is weather dependent.
Emergency vehicles and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
