On 23/06/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on U10 Woodhill, Knockentiber, from a point 50 m southwest of Carmel Water Bridge to a point 50 m northeast of that bridge (except vehicles engaged on the bridge parapet repairs and road works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 29/06/20 until 24:00 hrs on 16/08/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via A735 Kilmarnock Rd/Townend, B751 Sunnyside/Crosshouse Rd/Kilmaurs Rd, C24 Bonnyton Rd and vice versa.
