On 26/05/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on route B7038 sliproad onto route A71, Kilmarnock, from its junction with Campbell St Roundabout to its intersection with route A71 (except vehicles engaged in the repairs to Riccarton Viaduct and Dundonald Road Bridge and resurfacing works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

It is anticipated that the works will take two weeks but this is subject to weather and or other issues that may impact negatively on the works.

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 06/07/20 until 24:00 hrs on 21/08/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

Alternative Route: via Hurlford Rd, Queen’s Dr and Bellfield Interchange.
