On 14/01/20 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on C77 Netherlands/Drumdroch road, Milrig, Galston, (from a point 100 m west of the Drumdroch Bridge to a point 100 m east of the bridge), except vehicles engaged on the bridge repair works, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

 

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 20/01/20 until 24:00 hrs on 14/02/20, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

It is anticipated that the works will take two weeks but it is weather dependent.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.

Alternative Route: via A76 to Crossroads, A719 to Galston and B744 to Milrig and vice versa.
