On 19/11/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on U10 Woodhill, Knockentiber, from a point approximately 390m east of its junction with C24 Bonnyton Road southwards for 20m (the Bridge over Carmel Water) (except vehicles engaged on the bridge parapet repair works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 09:00 hrs on 25/11/19 until 17:00 hrs on 24/12/19, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via A735 Kilmarnock Road/Townend, B751 Sunnyside/Crosshouse Road/Kilmaurs Road, C24 Bonnyton Road and vice versa
