On 20/08/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on the lengths of roads listed below (except vehicles engaged in facilitating the Cumnock 10k run 2019), for the purpose of maintaining road safety during the holding of this event.
The Order shall come into force at 08:00 hrs until 17:00 hrs on 25/08/19, and will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
The road closures will be phased and whilst roads are closed alternative routes will be signed accordingly on site
Vehicular access to properties within the closed roads will be permitted on the instruction of the traffic management marshals when it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
