On 16/07/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any person to travel on Route A735, Kilmaurs, from a point 50 m south of Brackenburn Bridge to a point 50 m north of the bridge (except for pedestrians or vehicles engaged on East Ayrshire Council’s works replacing the bridge), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 19/08/19 until 24:00 hrs on 27/09/19, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route: via A735 to Stewarton, B778 to Fenwick, south on the A77 and B751 to Kilmaurs and vice versa.
