On 16/07/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any person to travel on the roads listed below to facilitate the holding of K-Fest 2019 festival.

ROADS CLOSED TO VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS

(From 00:01 hrs on 27/07/19 until 06:00 hrs on 28/07/19)

Croft St from Portland St to Strand St, Dunlop St from Strand St to John Finnie St and Strand St from John Dickie St to West George St, Kilmarnock. Traffic will be diverted via Bank St, Kilmarnock.

Should it become necessary between 00:01 hrs on 27/07/19 until 06:00 hrs on 28/07/19 then the emergency plan will be implemented to close John Dickie St from John Finnie St to Bank St/Cheapside St to vehicles and pedestrians. The existing one way traffic system and this closure will also have the effect of preventing vehicles from accessing Bank St from Cheapside St/John Dickie St/Sandbed St to Bank Pl, Cheapside St, College Wynd, Low Church Ln and Sandbed St, Kilmarnock.

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 27/07/19 until 06:00 hrs on 28/07/19, or until the event is over whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
