On 21/05/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive a motor vehicle on the lengths of roads listed below at a speed exceeding 40mph. These restrictions are required to maintain road safety during the building development works on or near the road.
40mph Speed Limit
Route A71, Kilmarnock - from a point 50m northwest of the Moorfield Roundabout, southeastwards to a point 50m southeast of the Moorfield Roundabout, a distance of 0.21 kilometres or thereby;
Route A759, Kilmarnock - from a point 70m southwest of the southwest side of route A71 overbridge south-westwards and northwards to its intersection with route B7064, a distance of 0.38 kilometres or thereby;
Route B7064, Kilmarnock - from its intersection with route A759 northwards to its junction with route A71 at Moorfield Roundabout, a distance of 0.18 kilometres or thereby;
Route B7064, Kilmarnock - from its junction with route A71 at Moorfield Roundabout northwards to its junction with route B7081 a distance of 1.05 kilometres or thereby.
The Order is in force from 00:01hrs on 23/05/19 until 24:00 hrs on 31/01/20 and will be implemented when appropriate signs are displayed.
