On 30/04/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Garden St, Kilmarnock, from the northeast side of its junction with Hill St north-eastwards for 40m, except for vehicles engaged on the road repairs, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

The one way operation on Garden St between Hill St and Portland St will be suspended to facilitate access/egress via Portland St.

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 20/05/19 until 24:00 hrs on 02/06/19, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.

 

Alternative Route: via Hill St and Portland St, Kilmarnock.
