On 12/03/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Grange Pl from John Finnie St to Grange St and John Dickie St from John Finnie St to Grange St, Kilmarnock (except vehicles engaged on Scottish Water sewer works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 01/04/19 until 24:00 hrs on 12/04/19, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

 

Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closure will only be permitted to and from their properties when it is safe to do so.

Emergency access and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.

Alternative route for Grange Pl closure: via Langlands Brae,

Langlands St and Park St.

Alternative route for John Dickie St closure: via Nelson St and John Finnie St and vice versa.
