On 12/03/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, by reason of Scottish Water sewer works to be executed on or near the road.

 

This Order makes it unlawful-

1. for any vehicle to wait on Dick Rd (northwest side) from a point 27m northeast of Old Mill Rd north-eastwards for 34m and, Dick Rd (southeast side) from a point 26m northeast of Old Mill Rd north-eastwards for 24m;

2. for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Elmbank Dr from Dick Rd westwards for 100m. Diversion via Dick Rd, Rennie St and Elmbank Dr, Kilmarnock and vice versa.

Vehicles engaged in Scottish Water works and emergency vehicles will be exempt from both restrictions.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 01/04/19 until 24:00 hrs on 13/04/19 and will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
