On 05/03/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012, and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to address indiscriminate parking on the road near William McIlvanney Campus Bus Drop Off area that is likely to causing danger to the public.
This Order makes it unlawful for any vehicle to wait at any time or load/unload at any time on—
Sutherland Dr, Kilmarnock (both side) – from a point 12m south of the entrance to William McIlvanney Campus Bus Drop Off area northwards for a distance of 142m.
The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 07/03/19 until 24:00 hrs on 05/07/20 and will be implemented only when appropriate road markings/signs are present.
