On 05/03/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on U29 Halket, Lugton, from Dunlop Rd (A735) to U28 a distance of 624 metres (except vehicles engaged on the BT ducting works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 18/03/19 until 24:00 hrs on 27/03/19, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via A735, U21 and C100, Kilmarnock and vice versa.
