On 15/01/19 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Assloss Rd, Kilmarnock, from a point 50m northwest of Assloss Bridge to a point 70m southwest of the bridge (except vehicles engaged on the bridge works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

 

The Order shall come into force at 00:01 hrs on 13/02/19 until 24:00 hrs on 09/04/19, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

 

It is anticipated that the works will take six weeks but it is weather dependent.

 

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.

 

Alternative Route: via B7038 Glasgow Rd, U65 Crooksmill and Assloss Rd and vice versa.
