NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Notice has been issued under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, use of the following road by the under noted classes of vehicle shall be restricted as stated herein—
Name of road - Barskimming Road (C3), Mauchline
Affected length of road - From its junction with Station Road southwards to the access road to the Electricity Sub Station.
Nature and period of restriction - Road Closure from Wednesday to Friday between 22:00 hours and 06:00 hours.
This Notice is in force from 22:00 hours on Wednesday 8th August 2018 until 06:00 hours on Friday 10th August 2018.
Reason for restriction - Rail bridge inspection works.
Classes of vehicles affected - All (except vehicles engaged in the rail bridge inspection works and emergency vehicles)
Alternative route:
Diverted traffic should proceed via Barskimming Road (C3), C3 to Crosshill, C82 Schaw/Croshill road to Shaw, B730 to Coalhall, A70 to Cumnock and A76 to Mauchline and vice versa.
